Reprising the "12 Days of Christmas" Series
Waterford's revered "12 Days of Christmas" series of collectable bells and champagne flutes, first released in 1982, makes a triumphant comeback starting with the 2005 Holiday Season. The first two pieces in the series, "A Partridge in a Pear Tree" and "Two Turtle Doves," will be introduced in 2005, and will be available through 2010. Waterford has announced the following release schedule for this series:
2005: A Partridge in a Pear Tree; Two Turtle Doves
2006: Three French Hens; Four Calling Birds
2007: Five Golden Rings; Six Geese-a-Laying
2008: Seven Swans-a-Swimming; Eight Maids-a-Milking
2009: Nine Ladies Dancing; Ten Lords-a-Leaping
2010: Eleven Pipers Piping; Twelve Drummers Drumming
The release date for the final piece, the commemorative Champagne Bucket, has yet to be announced.
